Conditions for registration

Registration for the Botanik-Tagung 2026 is now open via our conference management system, Conftool. Please click the button below to begin. You will first be prompted to create a user account, and then to complete your conference registration. Ensure you double-check all personal details (especially your email address) before submitting to avoid any delivery issues.

Please note that you must complete your conference registration before you can submit an abstract.

 

Dates

Early-bird deadline: 30 April 2026

Standard registration: 1 May – 28 August 2026 (late/onsite fees apply thereafter)

Abstract submission deadline: 31 May 2026

Notification of acceptance: late June – early July 2026

 

Conference fees

Conference fees are listed below. PhD and student rates require proof of status (e.g. student card or enrollment certificate) during registration.

If you are not yet a member of the German Society for Plant Sciences (DBG), we warmly encourage you to consider joining. In addition to reduced conference fees, DBG membership connects you to a dynamic community of plant scientists and offers further professional benefits throughout the year.

The fees can be paid either by credit card (using the payment portal Stripe) or by bank transfer.

Day tickets can be issued upon request in exceptional cases.

Information on side events like the icebreaker on Sunday, the networking event on Wednesday, workshops and field trips, are available on the page “Workshops & Special Events”.

 

Terms of registration and payment

Registration is binding. Cancellation refunds of 80 % will be issued if requested up to 30 days before the start of the event; after this date no refunds are possible. Registration fees are due within 7 days of submission and no later than 7 days before the event begins. Please note that participation is not confirmed until full payment has been received. The conference programme may be subject to change. In the event of conference cancellation by the organiser, registration fees will be refunded; reorganised or postponed events will retain your registration.

 

Payment

Please remember that you must complete your full registration before submitting an abstract. Credit card payments (via Stripe) are usually processed immediately. Bank transfers may take up to four working days to be recorded in Conftool after receipt, which may affect your ability to submit an abstract close to the deadline.
