DBG unites more than 1,000 plant scientists from all scientific disciplines, ranging from molecular and genetic biologists to vegetation sociologists and ecosystem scientists. Every other year it organises the Botanik-Tagung to foster scientific exchange, where 400 – 600 scientists are expected to attend. DBG supports scientists, values diversity, and unites all generations of researchers.
