About the German Society for Plant Sciences (DBG)

The German Society for Plant Sciences (Deutsche Botanische Gesellschaft, DBG) is the largest non-profit organisation for plant scientists in the German speaking area. DBG unites more than 1,000 plant scientists from all scientific disciplines, ranging from molecular and genetic biologists to vegetation sociologists and ecosystem scientists. Every other year it organises the Botanik-Tagung to foster scientific exchange, where 400 – 600 scientists are expected to attend. DBG supports scientists, values diversity, and unites all generations of researchers.

 

Payment and confirmation of payment

After your online registration you will immediately receive a written confirmation with account details that you can use for your transfer. This invoice is also used as a submission to the tax office. Alternatively, payment via online payment (immediate transfer, giropay, iDeal or credit card) is possible immediately after your registration.
In case of bank transfers 10 working days or less before the start of the event, the transfer receipt must be presented at the check in.
